Engagement method
How a Querymesh Hub engagement moves from first conversation to live volatility coverage.
Volatility coverage only works when both sides agree what “watching the surface” means for a specific book. This page outlines the path we use for retainers and fixed-scope work.
Scoping conversation
A 30–45 minute call covering underlyings, tenors, decision windows, and constraints such as gamma budgets or quiet periods. We confirm whether a retainer, regime assessment, or event briefing fits.
Written proposal
You receive a short proposal: scope, cadence, fee band, start date, and any rush or on-site session notes. No software licences or bundled “modules” — only the analysis work described.
Calibration
For retainers, the first week is calibration: watchlist locked, note template agreed, alert thresholds set. For assessments and briefings, this step is a focused kickoff with the document outline.
Live delivery
Notes, calls, and event coverage begin on the agreed cadence. You always know who is covering the book and how to reach them during UK market hours.
Reset or close
Retainers reset quarterly. Fixed-scope work closes with a walkthrough call. Extensions, pauses, and cancellations follow the terms on our refunds page.
What we need from you
A clear list of underlyings (or a short book description), preferred tenors, and the decisions the analysis should support. Account numbers and proprietary strategies are not required for scoping; NDAs are available when needed.
Natural next action
If this path matches how your desk commissions external analysis, request a scoping call or review the engagement list.
